One more post before we actually jump into the dynamic of making the most glorious thing on earth: cookies. Certainly three weeks ago i was struggling with which equipment should i buy to do my cookie. I do not know anything about baking, but i love cookies and my love to cookies take me where i am right now, which is pretty much the same place, but with less money in my account for all the spending in cookies.
So, let me make it easy for, this is pretty much what you need, before you can actually start baking cookies:
- Mixer
This is probably the most important thing that you are going to need, and if you are really into the idea of doing cookie, i highly recommend you to buy a Kitchen aid. And while the price may seem too excessive, i guarantee you that is worth every penny
- Food Scale
If you want to do experiments, and add or subtract new ingredient to the recipe then you will need a Food Valance, usually one of 10 pounds is more than good enough and if you are thinking in buying one i recommend you this one
- Measurement Spoon
- Mixing Bowl
- Measuring Cup
You can never follow a recipe if you do not have this instruments, they are essential in the life a baker. And if you do not have them yet, i will make a favor and i will recommend you to buy this set, since is the most economic and complete set that i have seen.
- Whisk
- Chef Knife
- Cutting board
- Nonstick Cookie Sheet
- Spatula
Now all this things you can find them in amazon or eBay, but i can tell you from my experience that you would not find a cheaper place to buy them than Walmart. So, if you are looking to do cookies, but you do not want to crazy with the expending then take a look at Walmart website and you will be surprise of the diversity of stuff that they have in bakery
